I discovered the wonderful island of Sint Maarten in 1992 while I was working on a cruise ship and fell in love with this paradise set in turquoise-colored waters.
I decided to make my life here. I started by working at the famous La Samanna Hotel in the French Lowlands. I then opened my first restaurant, La Gondola in Sandy Ground on the French side in 1997, which I moved to the Atlantis Casino (now Starz Casino) in Cupecoy in 2003. I opened the currently operating IZI Italian Restaurant in Simpson Bay in 2009.
After owning three highly successful Italian restaurants here on the Island and after 30 years in the restaurant business I have decided to start a new career in real estate, largely thanks to Mario and Linda Molinari who are the founders of Island Dream Real Estate. They celebrated many closings in my restaurant while they were always encouraging me to join them. Now, after 10 years of encouragement, I am delighted to join the Island Dream Team.
During my entire professional restaurateur career, I always gave the best of myself to deliver excellence. Many customers and local business owners know me for my honesty and professionalism. For me the customer always has been my priority — I believe I know how to satisfy people’s expectations.
Over the years I have acquired a good knowledge of both sides of the island to enable me to properly advise a prospective buyer wanting to invest here and enjoy this nice, uniquely special, friendly island, and the Caribbean lifestyle.
